योग जिसने दुनिया में भारत को पहचान दिलवायी, यह योग वो वाला नही था जो वैदिक धर्म से निकलता था। बल्कि वह जो बौद्ध धर्म के अनुयायिओं वाला योग था। अभी कुछ-एक वर्ष पहले थाईलैंड में एक छात्र दल मनोरंजन क्रीड़ा के खोजी अभियान के दैरान एक भूमिगत गुफा में प्रवेश कर गया था। फिर वह लोग नीचे उतरते चले गये और कक्षाओं व्यूह के बीच अपना रास्ता भूल बैठे थे। बहोत जबर्दस्त बचाव अभियान के बाद एक ब्रिटिश दल ने उन्हें बहोत दिनों बाद बचा लिया। हालांकि बचाव अभियान के दौरान थाईलैंड के अपने नौसैनिक दस्ते के एक सदस्य ने अपनी जान खो दी थी। बाहर निकलने पर छात्र दल ने बौद्ध योग संस्कृति के माध्यम से अपने मन और शरीर की क्रियाओं को नियंत्रित करने को अपना जीवन रक्षक प्रेरणा स्रोत बतलाया था। छात्र दल के शीर्ष ने न सिर्फ अपनी जान बचायी, बल्कि योग द्वारा विकसित सब्र, धैर्य जैसे गुणों से समूचे दल को विचलित होने से रोक, नियंत्रण बनाये रखा, विद्रोह नही होने दिया और सीमित भोजन, वायु, प्रकाश, और निराशा से भरे माहौल में भी किसी को टूटने नही दिया था। यह अंतर है बौद्ध धर्म के योग क्रिया और तथाकथित हिन्दू योग क्रिया...

The culture of Indians is of a low intelligence group, where people hold more opinions than their population. Indians, being intellectually insufficient, are not able to derive justices on issues. Therefore, they invariably always fail to make decision by logic and reason.Eventually, they resort to Populism (decision making by a populist vote) as the only method of delivering the justice. Resorting to populism: when logic and reason has failed. This behavior is analogical to : Some people say A has committed crime. Others say that he has not. "So let's decide by voting whether A has committed crimes ir not." !!!!! Instead of calling for scientific investigation, forensics etc , we Indian have the method of, first, creating a confusion scenario around a point. And then looking to untangle the confusion by calling for Vote. Perhaps, to this we may even mis-apply another fundamental tenet of "innocent until proven guilty" to help the criminal escape from clutch...

The argumentative man and the doctor I was reading through one doctor’s advisory to people who are 'habituated to arguing'. His was quite a medical prescriptive for people who, he thinks, are suffering from some kind of psychiatric troubles which are manifested in the form of an argumentative conduct. The meaningfulness advisory is something which I would like to talk . The doctor begins by stating “ Arguing is almost like a disease”. The start of the article itself left me much repulsed to it.
