साहित्य (यानी कहानियां , कविताओं, फिल्मों, टीवी नाटकों , उपन्यासों इत्यादि) को छोटे बच्चों को कैसे पढ़ाया जाना चाहिए?  साहित्य पढ़ाने का उद्देश्य क्या होता है?   हिंदी cartoon, वीर द रोबोट boy , और जापानी कार्टून डोरेमॉन, या s inchan में क्या अंतर है?    भारतीय संस्कृति में साहित्य के पठान का उद्देश्य बच्चों को किसी विशेष सोच, संस्कृति, नैतिकता, और धर्म को स्मरण करवाना होता है। जब हम भारत में निर्मित हुए छोटे बच्चों के टीवी वाले cartoon कार्यक्रमों, जैसे की vir the robot boy को देखते हैं और फिर उनकी तुलना किसी अन्य देश (अथवा संस्कृति) से करते है, जैसे की doreamon (जापानी) तब आपको इस भेद का आभास खुद ब खुद होने लग जाता है। जापानी कार्टून अपने बच्चों के जहन (conscience) में कोई पूर्व निर्धारित नैतिकता, धर्म या सही–गलत प्रवेश करवाने की चेष्टा नहीं कर रहे दिखते हैं, जबकि भारतीय कार्टून ऐसा करते महसूस किए जा सकते हैं।   मातापिता की अपने बच्चों से कुछ अपेक्षा होना जाहिर बात है और जो कि सभी देशों की संस्कृतियों में प्रायः दिखाई पड़ती है। अंतर सिर्फ ये है क...

ब्राह्मणवाद क्या है? इसको कैसे समझा जाये? महान यूनानी दार्शनिक और चिंतक, एरिस्टोटल , जिनके पास अपने समय के समाज वालों के बहुत सारे सवालों और प्रकृति के रहस्यों का जवाब था , वे अक्सर लोगों के सवालों के जवाब देते-देते  विवादों और शास्त्रार्थों में दूसरो के साथ उलझ जाया करते थे। इस भीषण बौद्धिक द्वन्द के दौरान वे अपने जवाब को उचित सिद्ध करने की चेष्ट करते थे, और कई कई बार वे सिद्ध भी हो जाया करते थे। इसलिये उनके समाज के मान्य लोगों में उनका बहुत सम्मान हुआ करता था। अपने समर्थकों से प्ररित हो कर एरिस्टोटल ने ही ऐसे उपवन तथा वाटिकाओं को आरम्भ किया था जहां वे अपने शिष्यों के संग विचरण करते हुए समाज के सवालों का और प्रकृति के रहस्यों पर विमर्श करते हुए उनके गुत्थीयों को तलाशते थे। एरिस्टोटल के वे उपवन तथा वाटिका ही अकादमी कहलाने लगे जहां तत्कालीन यूनानी समाज के समृद्ध और उच्च कोटि वर्ण के लोग अपने बालको को एरिस्टोटल के पास भेजा करते थे विमर्श करते करते अपनी बौद्धिक कौशल को प्रवीण करने के लिए। वह अकादमी (academy ) भविष्य में जा कर ये आधुनिक कालीन पाठशालाओं की नींव बनी।  मगर एरिस्ट...

हिंदुत्ववादियों का मानना था कि भारतीय समाज गुलाम इसलिए बना क्योंकि हमने आत्मविश्वास की कमी थी। तो उन्होंने आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने के लिए भारत देश पर गर्व करने योग्य बातें—ज्ञान तथ्य, विषयवस्तु —ढूंढ ढूंढ कर प्रचारित करना शुरू किया। मगर वे अनजाने में समाज में आत्ममुग्धता प्रसारित कर बैठे आत्मविश्वास भरे व्यक्ति में किसी से भी बातचीत कर सकने की प्रतिभा धनी होती है। चाल चलन, पहनावा और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण —जीवन आवश्यक निर्णय ले सकने की समझ — परिपक्व होती है। इस विशेषताओं के चलते कई लोग सोच बैठते हैं कि आत्म विश्वास का अर्थ है बहुत बातें कर सकना, या कि अंग्रेजी में बोल सकना, या "smart"(मिनी, midi, fashionable) कपड़े पहनना, अंग्रेजी गाने सुनना, अमेरिका यूरोप की ही बातें करना और तारीफ करते रहना, बहुत सारा ज्ञान संशय करके यहां वहां झड़ते रहना, उपलब्धियां गिनवाना, वगैरह वगैरह। मगर ये सब व्यवहार वास्तव में आत्मविश्वास के विकसित करने के बीज नही होते है , बल्कि पहले से ही उत्पन्न हुए आत्मविश्वास को दुनिया के सामने चमकाने का माध्यम मात्र होते हैं। आत्मविश्वास का मूल स्रोत दार्शनिक सोच होती है...

कल्पना करिए कि आप एक Marketing Professional हैं और आपको ज़हर बेचने का कार्य पूरा करना है। अब आपके सामने चैलेंज होगा कि दुनिया को कैसे संतुष्ट करें कि आपका उत्पाद, यानी वो ज़हर , उसके लिए बढ़िया है ? राबड़ी देवी या उनके किसी समर्थक के चलाये twitter handle की पोस्ट से एक युक्ति सुझाई पड़ती है ज़हर बेचने वाले काम को साधने की। यह तो समझी हुई बात है कि ज़हर को सीधा बेचा जा सकना एक नामुमकिन काम हो सकता है। तो फिर दूसरा तरीका है कि आप किसी बड़े और विपक्षी उत्पाद को ज़हर कहकर उसका दुष्प्रचार करना शुरू करो। दुनिया वाले इस वाक-विवाद में फंस जाएंगे और कम से कम कुछ एक "समझदार" बुद्धिजीवी यह बोल देंगे कि आपके बेचे जाने वाले उत्पाद को भला-बुरा कहने से पहले उसे एक बार परीक्षण के नाम पर प्रयोग करके स्वयं चेतना बनानी चाहिए।  तो आपकी इस चालंकि से देश के बुद्धिजीवी ही अनजाने में आपके ज़हर के प्रचारक बन जाएंगे!!! और इस तरह आपका 'ज़हर ' एक बार तो बिक जायेग। अब अगर दुबारा बेचना हो तो फिर आप क्या करेंगे? इसके लिए आपको दुबारा से कोई युक्ति ढूढ़नी पड़ेगी। शायद अब आप यह कहकर दुनिया को संतुष्ट कर...

They surely don't see it as a war between Good and Evil, truth and lie, righteousness and wrong, They see it as loyal versus traitors ! And that may best explain why people of this country fail to unite as one nation. There is a thread missing,  that of Morality , which should be understood in terms mutually acceptable. And that is because the best string that ties the members of a society into oneness is the thread of Morality . Morality connects with Conscientiousness. Loyalty unfortunately connects through the surrender of Voice of Reason and Voice of Conscience. Loyalty leads to bondage and Slavery . They fail to understand that.

The problem of the fanatic cults is that whenever their eyes become forced to see into the mirror, they manage to switch off the minds by taking recall of some past incidents when they were the victims. Within a short span of time, the Supreme Court has twice delivered in favour of Privacy and Secrecy, where the Transparency should have been upheld, instead.  Transparency represents Public Conscience. What the accusers have been calling as the "Shoot and scoot" practise, is the tactical "Unmask the corrupt" method suggested by the leading anti-corruption agencies such as the Transparency International.    By not letting the Public Conscience to play its part in weeding out the corruption, it is possible for a large syndicate of the politicians and the bureaucrats to create a big "Mafia" to run a parallel government in a country where a majority of the citizen may stand in very denial about the existence of such a mafia. In theory, no SIT should be working. The repeated Occurrence of having to form an SIT to investigate matters is a constant reminder to us as to how the Indian System is flawed from the very beginning.
