The Arguments within

There is something about safety which I have learnt after so many years of seafaring . That , the very concept of safety by its nature is pitched against the business profits. Look at all the safety items you see around yourself on the Merchant ships. The lifeboats, the liferafts, the EPIRBS, the SARTs, ...you name it, everything. Have you ever considered the worth of these items from the point of view of a finance manager? If you ever do, you will notice that all of these items are a waste of money, a reduction in the profits of the business. The challenge of all the argument that come to promote the cause of Safety is that they deal in the imaginary and unseen, unheard events for the finance manager and other non-seagoing people. So it is always difficult to argue out how something is important, particularly when the argument have to contest their battle against the business profits by using scenarios which they may have hardly experienced from the comforts of their offices...

Via Whatsapp unknown So the tragedy-comic story goes something like this:- The Railways does not keep any "gold standards" about the labour conditions for their contractors to follow. The contractors pick the half-baked railways contracts and make profit by exploiting the labour under sub-standard work conditions. As a result , when dis-hygiene comes around, the bureaucracy, instead of auditing on the labour conditions, employs the tactics of marketing through the powerful ministers and influential celebrities that the people should do the brooming by themselves.! Labour exploitation -->buisness profits--> marketing --> vote politics ....An unimaginable poisonous cocktail where all the wrong is happening, and yet no one is responsible.

It is sad, but it emerges out that modern Hinduism has used Bhagvad Geeta and Ramayan more to confuse out the morality than to explore morality !!   People are regularly seen raprimanding each other for doing evaluation and Judgement of actions and deeds-"Who are you to judge his/my actions" , INSTEAD OF searching the locus of Morality and Justice using their ancient Scriptures.      This is likely to lead Hinduism into a religion of eternally confused and immoral people who are never in harmony with each other .Hinduism will be a religion of TRAITORS for the simple reason that people are not in agreement with each other ! and for the reason that there is no common agreement about What is Dharm .   Morality is the eternal binding force between humans which causes the formation of society. What's the plan of the minister of surface transport, Mr Gadkari, in regard to the RTO closure?? Are they trying to ''invent'' in India the European model of Driving License Authority by secretly  ''copying it from the west'' like it has happened with entire Administration and the Constitution. Then what is the motive of seeking the public opinion on this matter?? By Complacency, I understand :- a state of comfort which is a positive side of human growth and by various schools of thought such as Buddhism, and a general understanding of psychology, it is desirous of every person to reach the stage of Complacency. Let us do some dissection of the Bharti-SHO scuffle to know what all went, and against the ideal way of doing things.       To start, let us create a simple analogy which we will use later to help simplify and understand the event.    Consider a police checkpoint where a lots of people are passing by. This man argues with the police on being caught and makes a certain allegations on them. 1) He accuses the police of being biased against him because a lot many people had slipped through the checkpoint whom he knew didn't have the proper documents either, but were not checked by the police. Can his argument be held valid- that the police acted biased targeting him in particular, for the reason that many had slipped through the checkpoint? Being a 'Vigilante' or showing a 'mob mentality' in regard to the working of police department is NO crime in the legal sense, for which a person may be punished by a law court. Safety and Security related arguments must be done with extreme care and thoughtfulness. These two words have the mathematical power of Indices of ' raise to the power zero '. 2 raise to the power zero is equal to 1, is also equal to 5 raise to the power zero, which is also equal to 1.              One can thereof claim that 2 is equal to 5, based on 'mathematical logic', an apparently correct but highly meaningless and corrupt logic.
