1)खड़मास की वजह से छत्तीसगढ़ के नवनिर्वाचित भाजपा के मुख्यमंत्री राघुवर दास ने शपथ ग्रहण को टाल दिया था।(स्रोत: समाचार पत्र टाइम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया) 2) मानव संसाधन राज्यमंत्री श्रीमती स्मृति इरानी ने अपने निजी ज्योतिष के साथ 4लम्बे घंटे व्यतीत किये। 3)भाजपा में कूट-वैज्ञानिक आचरण ( pseudo-scientific) , वह जो वैज्ञानिक होने का छलावा करता हो) होने के आरोप पर भाजपा समर्थकों ने आम आदमी पार्टी के शीर्ष अरविन्द केजरीवाल की इस्लामी और सूफी मजारों पर चादर चडाने वाली पिक्चरें प्रकाशित करी, शायद यह जताने के लिए की केजरीवाल "sickular" हैं। 4)  आरंभ के दो बिन्दों को तीसरे बिंदु से जोड़ने पर निष्कर्ष यही निकलता है की भाजपा समर्थकों में 'ईश्वरियता' और 'अंध-विश्वासों में मान्यता' के मध्य भेद कर सकने की योग्यता आज भी विक्सित नहीं है। और इसके प्रमाण-लक्षणों में निम्न तीन बिंदु हैं: 5) पाखंडी आसाराम बापू, बाबा रामपाल के अधिकाँश पालक भाजपा के भी समर्थक हैं ,और इन्हें लगता है की भाजपा ही इन "संतों" को पुलिस से बचा कर "हिंदुत्व" की रक्षा कर सकती है। 6) बॉली...

       शिक्षा का अधिकार एकमात्र ऐसा अधिकार है जो की एक अधिकार कम है और एक बंधन, एक उत्तरदायित्व ज्यादा है । पढ़ने वाले बालक, छात्र, पर बंधन होता है कि 'पढो', और पढ़ाने वाले अध्यापक पर उत्तरदायित्व होता है की 'पढाओ'| सयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा घोषित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकारों में यह एक ऐसा मानवाधिकार है जिस पर यह विवाद, यह आरोप रहा है की यह अपने आप में ही मानव स्वतंत्रता की विरुद्ध है। किसी मनुष्य को शिक्षा ग्रहण करनी है या की उसकी चाहत ही अशिक्षित रहने की है - यह भी प्रत्येक मनुष्य की स्वतंत्रता में आता है। मगर मानवाधिकार शास्त्रियों का तर्क रहा है की चूंकि बाकी अन्य मानवाधिकार का संरक्षण खुद प्रत्येक मनुष्य के अपने मानवाधिकारों के आत्मज्ञान पर ही निर्भर करेगा इसलिय प्रत्येक मनुष्य को कम से कम इतनी शिक्षा तो अनिवार्यता से लेनी ही पड़ेगी की उसके मानवाधिकार क्या है। इस तर्क का अर्थ यह है की शिक्षा को अनिवार्य तो करना पड़ेगा मगर सिर्फ इस हद्द तक ही की कोई भी बालक या मनुष्य यह जान कर, सोच-समझ कर चुनाव कर सके की उसके अधिकार क्या-क्या है, और कि उसे शिक्षा लेनी है की नहीं। इसी विच...

In India, the Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Govt of India which works under the aegis of the IGNOU regulates the Distance Learning (DL) in India. If you visit their website you will see that almost all the state universities conduct some sort of DLP . All these universities have a recognition from a government body somewhere or the other-- either from a State Government , or the Central Govt. However, the DEC website will mention which all courses from which state universities have 'valid' recognition and which all are 'expired'. This concept of 'valid' and 'expired' has a thing to do with the business revenues of the DEC itself and the state universities too which are offering these DL program .          Talking about the difference between the Indian mentality and the Western European mentality, one difference is observable about the way the two dispose themselves to the use of technology. Infact , one highlighting case, in my opinion , is about the way an average Indian mind reads COLREGS Rule 7.   Rule 7 (c) reads: Assumption shall not be made on scanty information, especially scanty radar information.  An average Indian derives from the reading that 'Assumptions are forbidden', whereas the rule simply warns us about the wrong assumptions, how a wrong assumption may happen, and the limitations of the technology. Infact in the same Colregs Rule 7(a), there is a guidance on what to assume , when it says 'when there is a doubt that a risk exist, it shall be deemed to exist'. I think this entire business of "Selection in Merchant Navy" is the cause which creates an illusion of achievement among young guys who have just cleared 12th or so.     Earlier, "selection" meant that the entire process of training and sponsorship will be given by the company, because you were selected by the Company. Today, due to the globalised job market situation, the Government of India has been forced to open the employment marker irregularly in the interest of the shipping companies to help them find indian seafarer abundantly.       Towards this, the training "selection" is done by the IMU whereas the Sponsorship is left to the market forces (of supply and demand). Young school students have the sense of Achievement just when they are " selected " by the IMU to take-up a studies in the maritime colleges. Assumption is one basic method of handling the uncertainty. Ideally, person should be working along the Facts. But the truth of human existence is in the limitations of having all the Facts of this world at his disposal. Indeed, we all are composed of two sub-types - Facts and the Beliefs.     Fallacies pertaining to Linguistics and Philosophy have very frequently and deeply permeated the criticism work on Education system in India. When our faulted critic talks of freedom in education system, he mistakes away the freedom with "freedom to not to study". Although Right to Education is a highly criticized article of the UN Decl of Human Rights, but such a criticism on this article of UNDHR cannot be brought into relevance and play when the Criticism of Education system itself is the issue. The future ship management courses in my imaginations: My ship's old work photos show the daring works done by ship staff such as starboard anchor d-shackle lug re-affirming. The lug had pushed itself out as its tapering locking pin was lost away sometime, somewhere. Crew had to go overside at the curvature body of ship and do the hot work weld, also arranging to relieve the anchor weights off that lug. That required tough preparations. Then, there is one pic showing the seat ring of a valve burst away when the vessel was discharging at merely 8kg/ sq cm.
