ब्राह्मणवाद क्या है? इसको कैसे समझा जाये? महान यूनानी दार्शनिक और चिंतक, एरिस्टोटल , जिनके पास अपने समय के समाज वालों के बहुत सारे सवालों और प्रकृति के रहस्यों का जवाब था , वे अक्सर लोगों के सवालों के जवाब देते-देते  विवादों और शास्त्रार्थों में दूसरो के साथ उलझ जाया करते थे। इस भीषण बौद्धिक द्वन्द के दौरान वे अपने जवाब को उचित सिद्ध करने की चेष्ट करते थे, और कई कई बार वे सिद्ध भी हो जाया करते थे। इसलिये उनके समाज के मान्य लोगों में उनका बहुत सम्मान हुआ करता था। अपने समर्थकों से प्ररित हो कर एरिस्टोटल ने ही ऐसे उपवन तथा वाटिकाओं को आरम्भ किया था जहां वे अपने शिष्यों के संग विचरण करते हुए समाज के सवालों का और प्रकृति के रहस्यों पर विमर्श करते हुए उनके गुत्थीयों को तलाशते थे। एरिस्टोटल के वे उपवन तथा वाटिका ही अकादमी कहलाने लगे जहां तत्कालीन यूनानी समाज के समृद्ध और उच्च कोटि वर्ण के लोग अपने बालको को एरिस्टोटल के पास भेजा करते थे विमर्श करते करते अपनी बौद्धिक कौशल को प्रवीण करने के लिए। वह अकादमी (academy ) भविष्य में जा कर ये आधुनिक कालीन पाठशालाओं की नींव बनी।  मगर एरिस्ट...

संविधान को बदलने के विचार कई सारे नेता बोल रहे हैं, और इस बिंदु पर भी राजनीति गरम होने लगी है। ऐसे में आवश्यक हो चला है की कुछ स्पष्टीकरण हो जाये की क्या-क्या बिंदु स्वीकृत हैं, और क्या-क्या नहीं। सर्वप्रथम तो यह जानना ज़रूरी है कि भारत के संविधान का बहोत बड़ा गुण है ही यह की इसे समय की ज़रूरतों के अनुसार बदलाव किया जा सकता है। Amendability. तो इसमे तो कोई विरोध नही किया जाना चाहिए की बदलाव की चाहत एक जायज़ मांग है खुद संविधान की मंशा के नज़र से भी। अब कुछ इतिहासिक ज्ञान। कि, संविधान के स्वरूप से पूर्ण रूप से संतुष्ट तो खुद बाबा साहेब भी नही थे। उनको भी आभास था की संविधान से कई सारे असंतुष्ट वर्गों की जायज़ मांगो को पूर्ण नही कर सके थे। उन्होंने भी आशा जताई थी की भविष्य में शायद उनके संविधान की amendability के गुण के सहारे कभी कोई ऐसा ढांचा तलाश कर लिया जायेगा जिसमे सभो वर्गों की जायज़ मांगो को शायद संतुष्ट किया जा सके।  तो यहां बदलाव में जो स्वीकृत किया जा सकता है वह यह की  देश की जनता ने आपसी संकल्प के कुछ मूल्यों को इन सत्तर सालों में इस तरह अपना लिया है की अब शायद उन्हें बदल...

They surely don't see it as a war between Good and Evil, truth and lie, righteousness and wrong, They see it as loyal versus traitors ! And that may best explain why people of this country fail to unite as one nation. There is a thread missing,  that of Morality , which should be understood in terms mutually acceptable. And that is because the best string that ties the members of a society into oneness is the thread of Morality . Morality connects with Conscientiousness. I am personally of the opinion that Helmet-wearing should not have been made compulsory.     Madras High Court in one of its judgement has made helmet-wearing compulsory. I am not much in knowledge of what debate, deliberations and critical points were argued in the honourable court which have led to such a judgement.
