The Arguments within

साहित्य (यानी कहानियां , कविताओं, फिल्मों, टीवी नाटकों , उपन्यासों इत्यादि) को छोटे बच्चों को कैसे पढ़ाया जाना चाहिए?  साहित्य पढ़ाने का उद्देश्य क्या होता है?   हिंदी cartoon, वीर द रोबोट boy , और जापानी कार्टून डोरेमॉन, या s inchan में क्या अंतर है?    भारतीय संस्कृति में साहित्य के पठान का उद्देश्य बच्चों को किसी विशेष सोच, संस्कृति, नैतिकता, और धर्म को स्मरण करवाना होता है। जब हम भारत में निर्मित हुए छोटे बच्चों के टीवी वाले cartoon कार्यक्रमों, जैसे की vir the robot boy को देखते हैं और फिर उनकी तुलना किसी अन्य देश (अथवा संस्कृति) से करते है, जैसे की doreamon (जापानी) तब आपको इस भेद का आभास खुद ब खुद होने लग जाता है। जापानी कार्टून अपने बच्चों के जहन (conscience) में कोई पूर्व निर्धारित नैतिकता, धर्म या सही–गलत प्रवेश करवाने की चेष्टा नहीं कर रहे दिखते हैं, जबकि भारतीय कार्टून ऐसा करते महसूस किए जा सकते हैं।   मातापिता की अपने बच्चों से कुछ अपेक्षा होना जाहिर बात है और जो कि सभी देशों की संस्कृतियों में प्रायः दिखाई पड़ती है। अंतर सिर्फ ये है क...

The problem of the fanatic cults is that whenever their eyes become forced to see into the mirror, they manage to switch off the minds by taking recall of some past incidents when they were the victims. Perhaps the better way of identifying who should we call a Fanatic is by determining who is it who is striving to SWITCH OFF THE MINDS by taking any impertinent recall of his victimized status. I have a huge DISLIKING for those photographs of small kids which are showing them supporting any political groups (e.g. AAP, BJP,RSS) in all of their innocence.    Aren't the grownups, the adults suppose to teach the small children HOW TO KNOW the right from the wrong, INSTEAD OF teaching what is right and what is wrong. From this school of thought, a small kid supporting a political outfit is reminiscent of brainwashing carried out on him instead of the awakening of a conscience within him.   Small kids are expected to be pure, unbiased and innocent(not having Full-awakened conscience). Politics is a large activity which requires immense sense of justice and an application of conscience. How on earth should small children be expected to have cultivated these at their tender age. I think it is important to understand how a 'Service' differs from a 'Profession'.    Word 'Service' has different meanings in different context. In the broadest of meanings of ' Service or Profession ', everything that a person does is , in a way, a service to his society.  'Profession or service' (used alternately) refers to any job outside of the two most commonest method of earning food seen in nature - Hunting and Agriculture. In this very broad meaning, All people who are not a Hunter or an Agriculturist (A farmer) are a 'Professional or service' class of human.     But when it comes to Economics of modern times as the context, a person can be ' dealing in certain goods ' , or he could be ' dealing in services '. Or, they should have been so unless ofcourse our attitudinal Commondification did not take-over our Emotional Intelligence to respond appropriately to a given emotion. It's is surprising that we Indians who are so much into watching that Emotionally 'masala'-rich bollywood produces , in our real lives are acutely de-sensitive of emotionally appropriate responses.                  Television debates are nowadays often running away into low-intelligence whenever any issue of a generalized public perception is coming up. The debating factions globule into two bigger chunks , one trying to assert why the generalized perception of the issue has to be taken based on that one single incident,; and the other big globule trying to protest the generalization of the observation that all people belonging to the group are not like that.   The philosophical knowledge which I feel has remained elusive with both the factions is about the human need for a Generalistion. Neither of the two factions honour  and identify generalization as a human need, to take up the rules for a valid generalization and then respond to each other as to what perception should be finally held valid by the viewers. Generalization of an Observation is a very natural instinct of man. It is an instinctive habit perhaps because it is connected with the survival techniques out in the wilds. The moment they see the birds sitting on loft trees fly away with a pandemonium of fear, the timid animals down below immediately generalize the observation with presence of a danger which has been experienced and trained in them through hunting episodes by a lion. This is instinctive , very closely related with the need for safety by every living organism.  But a philosopher or either a crook, both, might raise an argument on the birds-flying-away event isolating it with the past experience, and ask, "how can you say that the birds flew away because there is a lion. Maybe the birds flew because the flock leader decided to return home." Sometimes happiness eludes us all for our own reasons, when we impose some other ‘better’ or ‘bigger’ expectations upon own self. Rathod had just joined as a crew member on a merchant ship. Like with most other people, he did not know much about what all tasks would entail his duties on ship. Suddenly on first day he is asked to clean up all the officers’ toilets. He was aghast! He didn’t know that’s what an SUH (steward utility hand)was suppose to be doing. He plainly refused. In merchant shipping, refusing a lawful command of ship master while the ship is at sea is a punishable offense. He was brought to the master for the refusal to perform his duties. Singular partner’s past affair This sensitive issue has been broaching in my mind for quite sometime. Many of my pals use this as an excuse to get me also involved in their ‘playboy fun activities’, which just doesn’t convince me, ever, to get indulged. The issue of ‘fun’, notwithstanding all for my open views about them and with due respect to taboo-ic no-no to free love for all, a beloved's past affair is a psychological upheaval. I think there probably still exist a positive answer to handling the case of one the partners' past afair when the other is innocent. I often think that if sociology and social psychology ever were a subject for the IIT entrance test, the JEE, then this question of handling singular partner’s past affair would have aptly judged people’s mettle.
