कंप्यूटर का इतिहास जानना क्यों आवश्यक होता है?  कभी आप एक प्रयोग करके देखिए :– छोटे बच्चों (करीब दस से बारह साल आयु वाले) से पूछिए कि,  'coding क्या होती है?' और फिर इन बच्चों से बारी बारी से जो कुछ भी जवाब मिलता है, उसको इकात्रण करिए। उनको थोड़ी देर के लिए आपस में कुछ बहस करने के लिए छोड़ दीजिए कि वे एक दूसरे के विरुद्ध खुद के जवाब को सही साबित करने की कोशिश करें; एक दूसरे के जवाबों का माखौल उड़ाए; एक दूसरे से अधिक श्रेष्ठ, बुद्धिमान पुरुष होने की कोशिश करें।  आप बस बैठ कर आनंद लीजिए, और उनके प्रयासों का खाका बनाते रहिए।  अगर अग्नि शांत होती दिखाई पड़े, तो वापस कुछ नया घी डाल दीजिए, कोई नया सवाल पूछ कर, जैसे कि, ' कंप्यूटर क्या होता है?'  उनके जवाबों में से ही कोई नया टांग खींचने वाला सवाल निकल लीजिए, जो उनको कुछ सोचने पर मजबूर करता रहे कि आखिर सही जवाब क्या हो सकता है।  आप एक बात गौर कर पाएंगे, शायद – कि, कितना जटिल काम होता है बच्चों को ये समझा सकना कि computer क्या होता है, क्या नहीं ; कंप्यूटर के प्रयोग से क्या क्या काम हो सकता है, और क्या क्या नहीं। ...

हिंदुत्ववादियों का मानना था कि भारतीय समाज गुलाम इसलिए बना क्योंकि हमने आत्मविश्वास की कमी थी। तो उन्होंने आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने के लिए भारत देश पर गर्व करने योग्य बातें—ज्ञान तथ्य, विषयवस्तु —ढूंढ ढूंढ कर प्रचारित करना शुरू किया। मगर वे अनजाने में समाज में आत्ममुग्धता प्रसारित कर बैठे आत्मविश्वास भरे व्यक्ति में किसी से भी बातचीत कर सकने की प्रतिभा धनी होती है। चाल चलन, पहनावा और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण —जीवन आवश्यक निर्णय ले सकने की समझ — परिपक्व होती है। इस विशेषताओं के चलते कई लोग सोच बैठते हैं कि आत्म विश्वास का अर्थ है बहुत बातें कर सकना, या कि अंग्रेजी में बोल सकना, या "smart"(मिनी, midi, fashionable) कपड़े पहनना, अंग्रेजी गाने सुनना, अमेरिका यूरोप की ही बातें करना और तारीफ करते रहना, बहुत सारा ज्ञान संशय करके यहां वहां झड़ते रहना, उपलब्धियां गिनवाना, वगैरह वगैरह। मगर ये सब व्यवहार वास्तव में आत्मविश्वास के विकसित करने के बीज नही होते है , बल्कि पहले से ही उत्पन्न हुए आत्मविश्वास को दुनिया के सामने चमकाने का माध्यम मात्र होते हैं। आत्मविश्वास का मूल स्रोत दार्शनिक सोच होती है...

Original post on Facebook, dated15th April 2017 Idealism is but the fundamental understanding of the forces of nature . You like it or not, Idealism is the key way to understand how the nature operates. You may dislike Newton, you may condemn his theories, but then that is not going to make changes to how the Nature will work. And without Newton's work, you will be left with no other linear understanding of the forces of natures. You will never be able to control those forces, never be able to travel the distances of the civilizational progress. All the lessons of the pure sciences keep reminding to us the purposes of the Idealism.  Idealism is to the Political Science debates, what the Pure Science are to the Laws of Nature .

So hindus never considered creating any monument or record for a 'temporary' thing...the entire History, as we believe it to be, now. Dtd 27th July 2015 Judiciary doesn't award capital punishment for sins. It does so when a person, for his deeds, is seen as a threat to society; when a person cannot be reformed; or his deeds need to be checked by  strong deterrence.    But what happens when someone has adopted reformation due to his own inner calling? Do we still stay put at punishing him for a maniac reasoning of "sending a strong message"?  Is his reformation, and the judiciary's mercy in itself no message to those who adopt violent means to achieve their goals ?    We are a free democracy. We resist violence, not the opinion however divisive the opinion may be. Therefore someone holding a thought of separatism is not a threat to our harmonious existence, only the violence is. It was disheartening to listen to a lawyer's views who was teaching-talking to his class about being Respectful to seniors.
