The Arguments within

ऑफिस के कंपाउंड में एक खुल्ली जगह पर एक कैंटीन हैं। कैंटीन वाले ने अंदर ही एक बड़े से पिंजड़े में दो तोते पाले हुए हैं। वो रोज़ दोपहर में पिंजरे को एक-दो घंटे के लिए खोल देता है। तोते बाहर आते हैं, उड़ कर इधर उधर पेड़ो की डालियों पर बैठते हैं। शायद थोड़ा मटरगश्ती करते है। फिर कैन्टीनवाला एक छड़ से उनको थोड़ा परेशान करता है, या शायद इशारा करता है। दोनों ही तोते थोड़े समय मे खुद ही उड़ते हुए आ कर पिंजरे में बैठ जाते हैं, और फिर पिंजरे का दरवाजा बंद कर दिया जाता है। फिर बगल में 10-12 कबूतरों वाला पिंजरा है। उनके साथ भी यही सिलसिला दोहरता है। अब दोनों ही पक्षियों के संग यह पूरा सिलसिला प्रतिदिन कई सालों से होता आ रहा है। कहने का मतलब है कि जो लोग यह सोचते हैं कि पंक्षी का निवास आज़ादी से खुल्ले आकाश में उड़ना है, तो वो लोग शायद गलत है। अगर आराम से रोज़ाना भोजन यूँ ही आसानी से मिलता रहे, और संग में रहने को सुरक्षित छत्र-छाया, और फिर थोड़ी-सी एक-आध घंटों की आज़ादी, तो फिर यह तथाकतीत ग़ुलामी तो पंक्षियों को भी खराब नहीं लगती हैं। बड़ी बात सोचने वाली यह है कि ग़ुलामी और पालतू बनाये जाने में ...

बड़ा सवाल है कि जो व्यक्ति दिन-रात एक करके मेहनत से पढ़ाई करता है और IAS/IPS बनता है, तो क्या वह इतनी मेहनत समाज सेवा में योगदान देने के लिए कर रहा होता है? ज्यादा बड़ी गड़बड़ है। यह कि देश मे आर्थिकी ज्ञान और सम्बद्ध चेतना कमज़ोर है। लोग * सेवा* (services) और * व्यवसाय * (profession) को एक ही विचार के पर्यायवाची शब्द समझते हैं। यह दिक्कत सिर्फ आम आदमी की नहीं है, बल्कि सेना और लोक सेवा में बैठे बड़े-ऊंचे पद के अफसरों की भी है।   नतीज़ों में इन लोगों ने तंत्र को मरोड़ दिया है, शायद अपने निजी स्वार्थ हितों में । यहाँ * सेवादारी * ज्यादा आर्थिकी लाभ का कार्य हो गया है * व्यवसायों * से । क्योंकि सेवादारों की आमदनी टैक्स दाताओं (कर दाताओं) से आती है, इसलिए यह लोग एक सुनिश्चित आय का भोग करते हैं। दूसरा, की निजी कंपनियों में जहां आय में वृद्धि कपंनी के मुनाफे से जुड़ती है, और इसलिए market force पर निर्भर करती है, वही सरकारी सेवादारों की आय में वृद्धि भी सुनिश्चित है --प्रतिवर्ष वार्षिक वृद्धि, एक निश्चित क्रम में पदुन्नति पर  वृद्धि, हर पांच वर्ष पर pay आयोग से महंगाई आने पर वृद्धि, हर...

you see, as  I had previously said , that B Schools are giving to their students a poison cocktail of well-established philosophies (where each philosophical view has it's limits) so to get rid of the guilt-conscience , and sometimes the conscience as a whole, to execute out even the worst of unthical and unjust deeds which come in way of their business profits. There is a news today, that the American MBA is losing its shine. Perhaps to concur with my observations and belief.

      Societies of higher intellect sustain and thrive because of their abilities to work along the Facts , not the beliefs. Societies which are capable of handling evidence and search the truth are able to make the Right Decisions better. The argumentative man and the doctor I was reading through one doctor’s advisory to people who are 'habituated to arguing'. His was quite a medical prescriptive for people who, he thinks, are suffering from some kind of psychiatric troubles which are manifested in the form of an argumentative conduct. The meaningfulness advisory is something which I would like to talk . The doctor begins by stating “ Arguing is almost like a disease”. The start of the article itself left me much repulsed to it.
