Why do the poor people like, admire and observe the politics with so much enthusiasm
Politics, as seen in the newspaper, stands at the intersection of laws, governance, and realpolitik.
Often, this is what poor people admire and look up to because it offers them a chance to reach it. The system of democracy allows them to make their way to this opportunity crafted from the great intersection of law, governance and realpolitk (the mutual powerplay)
They need not excel in the craft of public administration, policy-making, or discharging judicial functions. They only need to engage in some realpolitik, such as supporting certain seniors and betraying a few others at the opportune moment. That is enough to bring them the fruits of politics.
