The origins of the Uniform

The origins of the Uniform

Uniforms originated , not from the defense forces or any other type of the force unit of the people .

It started from the professionals , back in Europe . Professionals are those people who earned their living by giving service-good to the people , such as the work in carpentry, the iron smith, hides men, mason, the tailors, and so on. These people used to wear a kind of dress so to advertise that they were sellers of certain kinds of  commodity or good ,in the form of specialised skill. It is better understood as  service-good.

Earlier , the formation of military forces was not regular . The farmers and their young sons were forcefully  taken up by the local Feudal Lords and just given some weapons and sent away to fields to fight, without being given any training.
The problem was no one would know which side the other person , that they were fighting and hitting by their weapons, belonged with.
The professional tailors figured out a solution to the problem.
They brought in the dress , all of it of one colour and type , so that when an untrained person - farmer-  who has standing as a soldier now, when he is fighting he may identify his team and may not hit this person .

This helped the Feudal Lords in securing a victory.

Thus the uniforms came around.
Later , with time, the uniforms became more specialized and started including pockets and spaces for carriage of different weapons and articles of use to different people. The uniforms became specialized.

The forces started to revere their uniforms as it helped them save their lives, save the lives of their fellow soldiers and got them the victory.
For them, the Uniform represented their respect , their dignity , their sincerity to their duty, discipline and so much more  .
In truth , the Uniform was about togetherness and the readily identification of their own team-member. It led to branding , thus a quick response from the member of public in a certain manner .

In modern times, the Uniform is sometime used deceitfully by the enemy to do false-flag operations . The enemy soldiers may just wear the Uniform of the other type, enter into the territory and do raids and damages, thereby putting the blame on the local soldiers . The branding can be used by the enemy against oneself . It is important that forces come out of the Uniform related narrow ideas and understand the limitations of it in modern times .
A soldier , nowadays , maybe required to work without the Uniform that he loves and respects so much.

Meanwhile the professionals have developed their uniform for their work places under their specialized need and once off their work, they wear civilian clothes like any other person.  In fact , the jeans also started as a uniform for the miners and the cowboys in Texas . Earlier they were seen as low-life clothes. But nowadays they have been tailored more suitably to make them look better and good for every person . They have rather become more preferential clothes for routine civilian-life necessity, such a intense traveling , protection from heat , dust etc.
